Commercially astute, thorough and holistic approach to delivering our client’s aspirations
Garnet Consulting was formed in 2009 to offer organisations a boutique management consultancy that understands their clients and works creatively and flexibly to deliver high quality outcomes. We provide a wide range of strategic, financial, commercial and organisational advice to public and private sector organisations including central and local government, NHS Trusts, CCGs, registered providers, infrastructure funds and shareholders.
We are actively focused on driving the best deals for our clients. Our values are predicated on providing experienced, high quality people with a genuine willingness to share risk and reward based on milestone achievements and value for money outcomes.
- Experience – Our team comprises some of the most experienced individuals in Infrastructure, who have worked at the most senior levels within public and private sector organisations. We know we are working in a constantly changing landscape, where government policy, reducing public spend and evolving funding markets create a dynamic and challenging environment.
- Flexibility – We structure our teams to deliver the most effective and comprehensive service to our clients. This may include working with long term associates and trusted partners providing project management, financial modelling, legal advice, complex fund raising, accounting and tax.
- Organisational buy-in – We believe that organisational understanding and buy-in of staff is key in delivering the maximum benefits to our clients. We are always keen to ensure that we transfer knowledge and assist in developing the skills, understanding and knowledge of our clients. It is important for us to provide sufficient explanation and advice to ensure our clients make informed decisions and we equip them to have the skills, knowledge and expertise to adopt similar approaches elsewhere on a continued basis in their organisation.
- Independence – We work for a variety of public and private sector organisations which enables us to gain a holistic understanding of the motivations and objectives of different parties. However, we strongly believe in providing independent, bespoke and honest advice to each of our clients to enable clear understanding of the challenges and opportunities which may be realised. To this end we often develop long term relationships with our clients providing advice on different areas of their business.

“We have been working with Garnet for over 4 years now. They have supported us in a range of roles in the PPP market from leading bids for secondary market investments to taking operational roles in the investments. They are different from other consultants. They take the time to build strong relationships, really understand what makes us tick and fit and work as if they were one of us. They have a deep knowledge of the complex PPP projects from both the private and public sector sides which shows through in everything they do.” - Jamie Pritchard, Director of Asset Management, John Laing Capital Management Ltd
